Classes are limited to approximately 8 – 10 dogs, and we have exclusive use of the hall. They cover all aspects of behavioural, obedience training, puppy health and both dog and people including children socialisation. Supervised children are encouraged to join in so the dogs/pups get used to being handled positively and gently by youngsters as well as adults.

 

On request prices can be given for an individually structured lesson which can be accommodated as a one-off or on a regular basis as below:

 

Group lessons for a maximum of 4 people

Individual sessions

Minor problem solving 1-2-1

Puppy 1-2-1

Puppy groups (outside of classes) max of 4 people

 

Should there be inclement weather during any of the 1-2-1 lessons or indoors training preferred then please take advantage of our training venue for a small additional fee.

 

1-2-1 training is suitable for dogs of all breeds and ages whose owners believe they can benefit from a more personalized form of training. It is not intended to help with behaviour issues like aggression, hyperactivity, major disobedience/training or multiple psychological problems. Such behaviour problems take much more time to deal with and may require the services of a professional behaviourist.

 

1-2-1 training can be suitable for those dogs that are too scared or nervous to train in a class environment. Training can take place on a 1-2-1 basis until the dog is ready to perhaps join a class if this is the aim.

 

1-2-1 training can also be useful for those owners that do not want to attend classes or are not able to do so due to time restrictions, disabilities etc., but would still like help with the training of their dog.

 

1-2-1 training for those who want a more convenient slot during the week either with their friend(s) or singularly.

 

1-2-1 training is ideal for those owners who want to ‘play catch up’ to bring their dog up-to speed to enter a class at an appropriate standard
